The Doctor who wanted to make a difference
Benedicte Lange,
Managing Director, has
always had a passion for health, leading her to medical school, from
where she
graduated in 1984. She worked for 4 years as an intern on University
Hospitals
in Copenhagen where she developed great interest for the medical
treatment
offered to her patients. That motivated her to take a position with the
pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca, where she spent more than 6 years,
knowing
that optimal benefit of medicine can only be obtained by close
cooperation
between companies and doctors, nurses, other health care professionals
and
end-users.
Her interest for the
world outside Denmark
led her to Ambu International, a Danish medical device company with 98 %
exports, where she held the position of Vice President, Marketing for 4
years. During
this period she became fascinated by health care philosophies from other
cultures and her passion for maintenance of health instead of just
treating
disease symptoms was evoked. She joined the Danish Consumer Healthcare
Company
Ferrosan, where she spent 5 out of 10 years in the United Arab Emirates
out-placed as Regional Manager for the Middle East. Her passion for
lifestyle
related imbalances grew to the extent that she decided to start up her
own business,
dedicated to development and marketing of natural based health care
concepts,
designed to help people stay as healthy and happy as possible.
Partnering up with a skilled and dedicated pharmacist, they developed Womega green K2 as the first product. You can be sure that more will follow.
Benedicte also has an MBA degree in e-commerce and is at the moment taking a degree as naturopath.
